November 25, 2015 – Right in time for the upcoming holyday season, this post addresses once more the issue of tainted sexual enhancement products. Such products, bought over the counter (OTC) or from Internet stores may pose serious health risks to individuals and turn some  holyday season leisure time activities into a nigthmare for some.

In fact, and consumers should really be aware of this, the American Food & Drug Agency (FDA) has identified an emerging trend where over-the-counter products for sexual performance enhancement, frequently represented as dietary supplements, contain hidden pharmacologically active ingredients that could be harmful. Consumers unknowingly take products laced with varying quantities of approved prescription drug ingredients, controlled substances, and untested and unstudied pharmaceutically active ingredients, which may be associated with some very serious, sometimes fatal, adverse effects. Please not that such deceptive products can seriously harm you! Hidden ingredients are increasingly becoming a problem in products promoted for sexual enhancement.

Stiff NightsJust in order to give you here an impression on the name giving creativity of the makers of such products they come along as Stiff Nights, Paradise Suplemento Natural Ultra Plus, XForMan Plus, Rhino X, Ultra SX, King of Romance, Hard Wang, Black Panther, Bigger Longer More Time, etc., and hint of course to the intented purpose of these products. There may be many and even countless more of such products on the market, not only in the US. but worldwide. As the stated, it cannot test all products on the market that contain potentially harmful hidden ingredients. It’s enforcement actions and consumer advisories for tainted products only cover a small fraction of the tainted over-the-counter products on the market, and this will be true for most regulatory agencies worldwide. Nevertheless, the FDA has assembled an impressive list on it’s public notifications issued in 2015 to warn people and make them aware of such products and the associeted health risks. The reader may want to check this list here and find more information on the topic of tainted supplementary (dietary, body building, health) products here. It may be worthwile reading.
